Construction Process

The project began with the erection of a prefabricated steel structure, setting the stage for a cutting-edge workspace tailored for fine art sculpture.

• Site Preparation: We first constructed a retaining wall to stabilize the terrain and prevent soil erosion.

• Infrastructure Installation: Essential plumbing and electrical conduits were laid before forming the structural base.

• Steel Framework Assembly: Using a telehandler machine, we efficiently lifted and positioned heavy metal components, ensuring a robust, long-lasting framework.

Designing a Space for Creativity

Every detail of Cherrylion Studios was crafted to enhance both functionality and aesthetics:

✔ Metal Siding Installation – A bold red exterior reflecting the dynamic energy of the creative space.

✔ Luan Board Interior Walls – Selected over traditional sheetrock, this material introduces a modern, wood-like texture, enhancing the studio’s artistic appeal.

✔ Checkerboard Wall Design – 4x4 Luan Board sheets were installed in a striking checkerboard pattern, adding dimension and visual interest.

✔ Strategic Natural Lighting – Elongated windows positioned along the upper walls allow for abundant daylight, fostering an inspiring work environment for sculptor Marty Dawe and his team.
